Château Mon Désir is a colonial style mansion overlooking the ‘Historical Ruins of Balaclava’ and the Citron river.
It is an exclusive ‘à la carte’ restaurant that offers its guests a gourmet cuisine with international specialties but also delicacies from France and from the Indian Ocean.

The French Executive Chef of the Maritim Hotel, Eric Poutot, in collaboration with the Chef of the ‘Château Mon Désir’, Rakesh Manoruth, have carefully selected the best products of the Indian Ocean, such as the ‘Indian Ocean Rock Lobster’ in addition to other delicacies from around the world, such as the ‘Kobe’ or ‘Angus’ beef.
All vegetables used for the restaurant are only sourced from organic farms.
Guests will experience International Fine Dining in a historical and beautiful tropical estate, where classical elements and modern influence of French cuisine meets the Mauritian spirit in a unique blend of tastes.
