All Africa Junior Golf Challenge 2018
13 African nations met last week in Rabat in Morocco for the All African Junior Golf
Challenge 2018. The Mauritius Golf Federation sent their four best teenage players to
represent the island. “It was a tough game,” they all declared unanimously speaking about
the weather conditions which is far from their usual experience.
Mauritius is famous for its golf courses, that host competitions for the members of the MGF
and for the junior members as well. A monthly competition is held gathering some thirty
young players, both boys and girls.
The last competition was held at Avalon Golf Estate in Bois Cheri on Sunday 25th of
February 2018 where the Rotaract of Curepipe and the MGF thanked their collaborators and
sponsors for the trophies and goodies.
