The first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal is Eid Ul Fitr, which notes the end of Ramadan, which is a month of fasting and prayer. Many Muslims attend prayers during Eid-ul-Fitr and celebrated by dressing in fine clothing while children receive gifts to mark the occasion.
