Time
flies so fast. We are in December and it’s summer. In Mauritius, Christmas is
warm. We have barbecues, we go to the beach, school children are on holidays. Malls
are crowded, it’s the peak season for shops, hotels and other businesses. It’s
also time to book your table if you wish to have Christmas dinner at a hotel or
restaurant. Most hotels have a show for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. If you
are looking for the western Christmas mood, we don’t have it here but we have a
warm and a very festive atmosphere.
